This spring, construction on CVS at Wells and Huron streets completed and the store opened to the public. Situated in the booming River North district, the project is positioned to support the many new high rise residential buildings in the area.

The exterior facade is clad in fiber cement with aluminum panel and granite accents. Large windows provide views and sunlight to the interior of the store. The neutral color palette allows the building to blend in to the urban surroundings while also highlighting CVS’ bold branding including an illuminated heart in the entrance vestibule.

The corner of the building acts as a focal point by recessing back from the rest of the facade and and by extending vertically to draw attention of pedestrians.
