A 26,300 SF INTERIOR RENOVATION FOR A CONSTRUCTION AND REAL ESTATE COMPANY
Home to McShane Construction Company and Conor Commercial Real Estate, this multi-faceted company had outgrown its previous space and wanted to capitalize on the value of getting all of their people on a single floor. Designed in response to the unique characteristics of this raw space, the layout features distinctive work zones that surround a central common area. With this arrangement, these two companies are brought together in a fashion that recognizes the value of community space, along with the unscripted interactions and chance encounters that inevitably occur. Occupying a second floor space that wraps around a south facing two-story atrium, this notable feature of the shell building grounds the company’s Breakroom and Training rooms, which create a hub of interaction that is accented by a feature wall of awards and a floor-to-ceiling graphic timeline depicting the history of The McShane Companies. The work zone of each individual company flank this central element, and incorporate collaboration areas designed to flex between supporting both teaming and individual workflow.
