INTERIOR RENOVATION TO CREATE A 14,000 SF CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS
This international manufacturer of water pumps desired a more central location within North America and settled on the 17th floor of one of the tallest office buildings in suburban Chicago. Within the context of a commanding view of the Chicago skyline, visitors are greeted by the Grundfos Gallery which features a water wall and a series of product exhibits that highlight company history, technology and connection to this dynamic Midwestern region. As a Danish company, Grundfos was most comfortable utilizing a clean and simple aesthetic as the basis for all design decisions, which served to underscore the look and open feel of this office space. Receiving LEED Silver certification, this project incorporates efficient systems for reduced energy consumption, responsible selections of renewable and low VOC materials, and bountiful access to daylight with sweeping views of the surrounding communities for all office inhabitants.
