INTERIOR RENOVATION TO CREATE A 26,750 SF CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS
Only 2 years prior, ARCHIDEAS assisted this pharmaceutical company with their corporate relocation from the east coast to 200 South Wacker Drive in Chicago. Where they rapidly outgrew the space as development of new therapies received phase 3 FDA approval. To accommodate the rapidly expanding needs of a young biotechnology company, ARCHIDEAS designed and executed a full floor interior build-out at 500 West Monroe in Chicago, Illinois. The design for the 33rd Floor included a complete renovation of the elevator lobby as well as conference and training center to support the quickly expanding marketing and sales components of the company. In addition to the CEO and other corporate officers, nearly 50 percent of the employees required private offices to meet regulatory requirements and to support their work responsibilities. Full glass fronts on the perimeter offices as well as carefully planned vistas at the ends of corridors were utilized to maintain an open feeling with access to natural daylighting.
