A 108,500 SF OFFICE & MANUFACTURING BUILDING ON A 6.1 ACRE SITE
Design Ready Controls is a privately held engineering and manufacturing company of control systems that was seeking to consolidate multiple locations and operations into a new corporate headquarters. The building design had to express their forward-thinking, technology based culture while also providing an efficient manufacturing and warehousing environment. The site was designed to integrate the geometry of the entrance expression and other key building elements with site amenities through the use of hardscaped gathering spaces, extensive native plant materials, and walking paths. Under-slab electric radiant floor heating was installed throughout the production environment utilizing off-peak overnight electric rates to heat the concrete mass of the floor to provide daytime comfort.
