A 9,000 SF TWO-STORY RETAIL PHARMACY ACROSS FROM WRIGLEY FIELD
Situated mid-block across from Wrigley Field in Chicago, this location provided a unique set of urban challenges. ARCHIDEAS designed the shell building to incorporate an existing billboard with land and air rights. The large mass footing was accommodated with limited excavation. The billboard structure extends through the interior of the building and restricts floor-to-floor heights. To create an open and bright interior, the store interior utilizes open ceiling construction and large windows facing north towards the stadium. This maximizes height and daylight in the retail areas. Escalators allow customers quick access to and from the second-floor retail and pharmacy.
