A 41,800 SF HEADQUARTERS BUILDING ON A 3.5 ACRE SITE
This new two-story facility for a national association of doctors has been designed to express this organization’s mission to inform, educate, and explore new methods and technologies. The broad expanses of metal and glass create a clean, sleek, and contemporary aesthetic that is complimented by the texture and modularity of the face brick at the first floor. Although offices are provided on the second floor for support staff, this facility was primarily designed to host continuing education seminars with features such as: a research and demonstration lab, an auditorium, meeting facilities, and an open lobby designed to encourage social interaction in a casual setting. An adjacent exterior terrace, intended as an outdoor extension of the lobby space, provides views of the gently sloping terrain and lake beyond.
